Each month, we fulfil hundreds of dreams, bringing smiles to the faces of brave children. Our Dreams Matter feature is a look at the special moments that have brought joy and inspired many to be resilient and hope for a better tomorrow.

Chef Sigwadi ready to serve

Someleze, a bright and bubbly 10-year-old is a content creation enthusiast. Passionate about creating the most fun memories, she dreamed of owning a phone.

Her dream day began in the La Grato kitchen where she stepped into her exciting role as chef of the day. Eager to create beautiful memories, Chef Sigwadi as she was affectionately named, got into the thick of it and cooked up a delicious creamy Linguine Chicken Alfredo.

Everyone gathered around the table to enjoy a meal cooked with love and shared laughter, passion and the joy of dreams coming true. Beaming with pride from her hard work, Someleze’s day was brightened up when her dream was revealed – a brand new cellphone for all her content ideas!

Her dream day was the perfect celebration of dreams coming true, ending with beautiful memories to last a lifetime.

All the treasures Kaydian could find

Nine-year-old Kaydian is an adventurous little boy, eager to find everything around him magical. Born with an inoperable congenital heart defect, he is an inquisitive and clever.

For his dream day, he embarked on a thrilling treasure hunt in a Pick n Pay store, instantly figuring out all the clues and collecting prizes like they were infinity stones. Kaydian’s face was the epitome of excitement throughout his treasure hunt, infecting everyone with his lively energy.

If one could burst from excitement, Kaydian would have been the first one to go. When he read the final clue and figured out that it was his dream, he boldly exclaimed, “It’s a Play Station 5!” and everyone on the hunt erupted in applause for a job well done!

Kaydian’s Play Station 5 was his most prized treasure, a symbol of persevering to get what he’s always dreamed of. Watch Kaydian’s exciting treasure hunt here.

What did the Fox say? It’s Gadija’s Dream Day!

Little Gadija living with cardiac issues has something magical within her. The five-year-old is a shy and gentle princess, dressed as Tinkerbell on her dream day.

She warmed up at N1 City where she believed she was celebrating her birthday with her siblings. Jumping from one end of the arcade to enjoying the car rides on the other, Gadija was having the time of her life! Porsha the Fox surprised the unsuspecting Gadija and they quickly became best friends, with the dreamer beating the Fox at an exciting game of air hockey.

Gadija’s dream day became extra special when everyone settled down for lunch and she was presented with a beautiful and treats and her dream Bubblegum Tablet and headphones were revealed to her.

She left the arcade with joy in her heart and the beautiful memories of her dream coming true.

These dreams and more we’ve fulfilled are a beautiful reminder that dreams matter. They’ve inspired our brave dreamers to keep fighting for a brighter tomorrow, one with joy and renewed strength.
