Reach For A Dream’s Dream Club brought high-speed thrills to life for a group of dreamers at the Festival of Motoring, hosted at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. Children from Pretoria were given the rare opportunity to experience laps in world-class supercars, turning an ordinary day into one of pure exhilaration and joy.

This courage-themed Dream Club outing brought children facing life-threatening illnesses out and offered them a day of thrilling rides and much-needed time away from their medical routines. This day was about sharing experiences and laughing with the ones who understand what they go through.

Sharing his exciting experience in a super car with the other dreamers, Sphumelele Skhosana from Themba, said, “My whole experience here has been fun. I enjoyed riding in the luxury cars, it was the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me.”  

For 13-year-old Marthinus Fourie from Rodiwal, the day marked his very first time in a supercar. He admitted he was nervous at first but soon discovered the joy of the ride, saying, “This experience was fun, especially for my first in a fast car. I was very nervous at first but when I got in the car it was very nice. I would definitely do it again.” True to his word, Marthinus climbed back into the seat for multiple laps in different supercars, each one building his confidence and delight.

Dream Club supporter and driver who volunteered his time and car for the event, Ozayr Rahiman reflected on the privilege of being part of the day and said, “It’s a privilege taking Reach For A Dream kids around the Kyalami track. There is so much potential in this world, and it resides in the hearts and minds of every single child that is a part of this club.” 

Branding for the Reach For A Dream stall at the Festival of Motoring was graciously supported by Brand Monster, suppliers of branded banners, gazebos and event signage, ensuring the stall’s visibility throughout the Festival.
